In this role, you will:- Strong Customer Focus, demonstrating a high standard of service in every customer interaction.
- Managing customer relationships and updating regularly on claims progress by telephone, in writing and managing mailbox communications.
- Taking responsibility for the correct assessment of a medical protection claim to an agreed authority limit of up to €150,000.
- Authorising and being responsible for correct payments to a value of up to €250,000.
- Decide the outcome of a customer's claim when requirements have been obtained.

We are seeking someone with excellent numerical skills and aptitude for detailed work, ability to learn core life and workflow systems and the ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to prioritise workloads, organise tasks effectively and work in a proactive manner who is also is interested in pursuing a career in a medical and technical area. Experience processing on core systems Life400 and BLISS is desirable but not essential.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of APA Life Qualification, completion of QFA or progress towards Underwriting Diploma (DLDU)

The primary objective of the Individual Risk Claims Team is to guide our customers through the claims process by offering a compassionate and professional personal service. Our team of experienced Claims Assessors endeavour to make the process as quick and efficient as possible.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration -exact frequency to be agreed with manager. #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
