As a Regional Occupational Health Program Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, you will be developing and managing the full spectrum of Occupational Health requirements and services. Programs (as regulations allow) will include medical surveillance exams (e.g., audiometric testing), Disability Case Management of work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, well-being programs, management of reputational issues, and establishment of a network of clinical services.

This position is a remote position within Europe, Middle East or Africa (EMEA) region, with occasional travel to other locations.

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a Regional Occupational Health Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Serves as member of the global EHS team
  • Leads the EMEA region OH programs
  • Collaborates with management, employees, and EHS team members in development and execution of OH programs
  • Provides consultation with business management on occupational health issues and services
  • Establishes and sustains network for clinical service support
  • Supports Emergency Response Team
  • Supports Industrial Hygiene programs designed to assess and mitigate occupational exposure risks

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required Education, Training, and Licensure


  • Physician Medical Degree required
  • Medical Licensure required
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine
  • Familiarity with Safety and Health Regulatory authorities and regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership, management experience
  • Familiar with electronic medical record systems, information technology


Preferred

  • Master’s degree in a relevant health related field (e.g., Masters in Public Health)
  • Certification in Occupational Medicine
  • Experience in developing global occupational health strategies, policies, and programs in multiple countries
  • Highly collaborative leadership style with well-developed critical thinking and communication skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, global organization or Data center
  • Customer service oriented
  • High integrity
  • Ability to be a self-motivated learner who takes initiative
The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
